MILFORD - Connecticut's Attorney General is asking the NFL to allow Connecticut stations to broadcast tonight's Giants game versus the Vikings that had originally been scheduled to be played yesterday.
The game was postponed and moved after the roof of the Viking's stadium collapsed in a snowstorm.
The rescheduled game will be available on Fox 5 from New York but not on Fox 61 out of Hartford.
Cablevision customers in Milford, Orange and Woodbridge do not receive Fox 5.
Richard Blumenthal is asking the league to reconsider saying, "Fans in the Giant's home viewing area should not be penalized for such an unusual event as the collapse of a stadium roof. It is unreasonable and unfair to suddenly and arbitrarily boot Giants fans in Connecticut out of what is and should be part of the team's home market for this game.
