HARTFORD - Connecticut health officials say 11 more flu deaths have been reported in the last week.

This brings the number of deaths to 17 this flu season.

The Department of Public Health says most of people who died were 65 or older.

Health officials say more than 900 people have tested positive for the flu in Fairfield County and that's the most in the state.

Doctors say the flu shot is at least 60 percent effective and they say it is still not too late to get one because flu season will last at least through the end of March.
