HARTFORD - Connecticut made more revenue from the state lottery than casino slot machines.

Research compiled by the Department of Consumer Protection shows the lottery brought in $312 million to the state this year.

Slots at Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun brought in $296 million.

It's the first time in 15 years the lottery has made more than slots.
