STAMFORD - State police have released new information about the unidentified pedestrian who was fatally struck on I-95 early Saturday morning.

The accident happened at around 3 a.m. on the southbound side of I-95, near exit 7 in Stamford.

State police say the victim is a Hispanic man between 30 and 40 years old with brown hair. He was wearing dark blue jeans, an extra large grayish-blue zip-up sweatshirt and a blue-and-white striped button-down shirt.

Anyone with information on the victim's identity is asked to call state police.
