HARTFORD - It is going to cost a little more to go to court next month.

Filing fees for civil and family cases are set to go up.

It is an effort by the state to raise an extra $5 million a year for legal services for the poor.

Legal aid revenue dropped dramatically after the financial meltdown in 2008.
