HARTFORD - Rescue teams continue to dig through the rubble of flattened buildings in eastern Turkey after an earthquake killed at least 270 people.

A 7.2-magnitude quake hit the country last night, followed by more than 100 aftershocks.

Turkish natives in southwestern Connecticut say they hate to see another disaster.

Gov. Dannel Malloy says the Red Cross and other organizations are working with the state's Turkish-American residents to help them contact their loved ones overseas.
