Steer on the loose in Milford

MILFORD - A posse hopes to close in on a steer named Waldo, who escaped a farm in July and has been on the loose in Milford.

Last month, volunteers put up a steel fence around Waldo's hideout in Milford, but they say he rammed right through it and escaped.

Animal control says Waldo's been traveling and grazing with a herd of deer.

Animal control officials say they hope to trap Waldo in the next few weeks and move him to an animal sanctuary.
