A Norwalk man is facing drug and traffic charges following a standoff with officers.

Police say they pulled over Steven Carey, 23, in a parking lot next to Columbus Magnet School yesterday afternoon.

Officers say when Carey would not roll down windows, they drew their guns.

Parents of children in the school say that they are getting concerned with the criminal activity going on around the school. One parent says it gets worse every year.

The school principal says there were no children in the school at the time.

Police say they found drugs in Carey's car.
