CHESHIRE - Testimony resumes today in the penalty phase of the trial of Steven Hayes.

Hayes was found guilty of murdering a Cheshire woman and her two daughters and jurors must decide if he'll be put to death.

Last week, a psychiatrist testified that Hayes told him he wanted get on the stand to show no remorse for the killings and persuade the jury to impose capitol punishment.

Despite Hayes' claim that he wanted "to look like a monster," the psychiatrist wasn't sure Hayes was telling the truth.
