BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport police say a man is dead after being shot at a convenience store Wednesday morning.

The shooting occurred at around 8 a.m. at the T. Market located at 1482 Reservoir Ave.

Police say store employee Hakeem Joseph, 32, was shot several times in the chest by a masked man. Joseph was rushed to St. Vincent's Medical Center and pronounced dead a short time later.

Investigators say they do not have a motive for the shooting. No evidence has been found to suggest that the suspect tried to rob the store.

Police released surveillance video of the suspect, who they say was last seen running away from the store.
