STRATFORD - A weekend storm caused many problems in southwestern Connecticut.

Parts of Main Street in Stratford were flooded causing cars to get stuck.

In Stamford, the flooding blocked parts of Farms Road after the Upper Mianus Pond overflowed its banks.

Meanwhile, sand, debris and a wave of water swept past Penfield Beach onto Fairfield Beach Road Saturday night.

Department of Public Works crews were out yesterday with tractors trying to scoop up all the mess.
