Storm response hearing held in Westport

WESTPORT - Residents voiced their concerns Monday night about local utility companies' response to the March 13 nor'easter, which left many Westport residents without power for days.

First Selectman Gordon Joseloff questioned why CL&P would not let crews work more than 16 hours a day to restore power.

The meeting was held at Westport Town Hall. Further meetings are scheduled for Fairfield, Greenwich and Norwalk.
