NORWALK - A mix of snow, sleet and rain is being blamed for various problems across southwestern Connecticut.

The wintry mix caused chaos in Norwalk, where power lines were down and some streets, such the intersection at North Water and Washington streets, were flooded.

Police say the bad weather also caused an SUV to slam into a pole on Post Road near Lacey Place in Fairfield. Other weather-related accidents were also reported in Greenwich and Bridgeport.
