STRATFORD - Stratford Animal Control officers said Friday that they have found the dog that bit an 81-year-oldman Wednesday morning.

The dog that bit the man is an Australian Shepherd owned by another resident, who says that the dog is up to date on its vaccinations, so the man was not exposed to rabies.

The man was treated by medics and is OK.

Animal Control has quarantined the dog for 15 days as per its protocol, but it does not appear that the animal poses any further health risks in the community.
