STRATFORD - Stratford police arrested a suspect today in the Success Village stabbing that took place yesterday.

Police say the suspect, 26-year-old Fedele Poppa, was seen walking though an apartment complex on Canaan Court before he randomly chose his victim.

A witness says she saw the 18-year-old victim screaming as he and the suspect fought.

The victim was stabbed multiple times in a parking lot before Poppa allegedly fled. The victim was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.

Poppa is being held on $250,000 bond. He's scheduled to be in court next week.
