STRATFORD - Stratford police say a 25-year veteran of the department and his K-9 are now retired.

Officer Thomas Clements and Khan were crime-fighting partners for more than five years.

Officials say the two were allowed to retire together since they have such a strong bond.

Police say they are now looking to purchase a new police dog and train another officer to be a handler.
