STRATFORD - Stratford police are seeking the public's help in finding those responsible for a string of vehicle break-ins in town.

Police say the majority of incidents -- which include reports of people stealing from unlocked cars -- have occurred on residential streets near the center of town, north of Barnum Avenue, during the late evening and overnight hours.

They say that they have also seen an increase in tires and rims being stolen from Honda vehicles, in addition to seeing thefts of landscaping equipment.

Anyone with information on the thefts is urged to call Stratford police.
