STRATFORD - Nearly half of the Stratford Town Council will not be returning for another term come November.

Three members will not be able to run for another term due to term limits. At least two others are said not to be seeking re-election.

Republicans currently make up the majority of the council. With nearly half of its members leaving by next term, there could be many differences.

Stratford Mayor Jim Miron, who is optimistic about what changes may come, will be running for a second term.
