STAMFORD - Student athletes spent time in the classroom and on the field this weekend at Football University, a summer camp in Stamford.
The teachers at Football University are former NFL coaches and players. Student athletes say they are grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from them.
Stamford native Garry Cobb, who played in the NFL for 11 years, says he taught students both technique and discipline.
The camp was open to students in grades 6-12.
