Student brings training grenade to Stratford school for D-Day lesson
STRATFORD - The mother of an 11-year-old Stratford boy has reportedly been arrested after her son brought a training grenade to school as part of a school assignment for D-Day.
The incident happened Friday at Stratford Academy Johnson House.
Officials say the World War II training grenade was immediately removed from the building and the school was on a stay put order.

The Connecticut Post reports the boy's mother Lisa Marie Migeli, 44, is facing multiple charges.
