BRIDGEPORT - Bassick High School dealt with its second bomb threat in less than a week today.

School officials say a 10th-grader was caught on camera scrawling the messages inside the girls’ bathroom and has since confessed to both incidents. They also say that the incident put students and faculty at risk and created a distraction for the police force.

Authorities say a newly installed surveillance system was key in their investigation.
