Jonathan Law High School opened its gym Saturday for students and grieving families to spend time with each other after the fatal stabbing of a 16-year-old student.

Officials say Maren Sanchez was killed the day of the junior prom by a fellow male student. Police are investigating whether Sanchez was stabbed after turning down the suspect's invitation to the prom.
