Students return to Fairfield University

NORWALK - Returning Fairfield University students settled into their dorms today after Hurricane Irene delayed the move-in date by one day.

Incoming freshmen were given a head-start yesterday, but sophomores, juniors and seniors all unpacked today. Most students said they were eager to return to the campus, start classes and see their friends.

Juniors and seniors returned to two brand new dormitories, which cost $60 million to build.
