BRIDGEPORT - A new study finds renters in two Connecticut cities are having a tough time paying the bill.

A Harvard University Housing study found that 30 percent of renters in Bridgeport spend half their income on rent.

In New Haven, 32 percent of renters use at least half their paycheck to make the rent.

The report predicts the situation will continue to worsen as unemployment rates stay high and rental markets tighten.
