GREENWICH - The start of Suicide Prevention Awareness Week is hitting home in Greenwich following the recent suicide of a high school student.
At Greenwich High School, members of a group called GHS Connections are trying, in part, to help prevent suicide among teens. They say their classmate, 15-year-old Bart Palosz, could have been saved if not for bullying and being excluded by his peers.
"This is a story about a tragedy and hopefully a new beginning," says one student.
A vigil for Palosz and protest against bullying is scheduled for Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at Greenwich High School.
