NORWALK - As people around southwestern Connecticut celebrate Easter and Passover this weekend, supermarket owners welcomed the crowds of last-minute holiday shoppers.

Norwalk's Stop & Shop was bustling with people earlier this afternoon, all stocking up on Easter and Passover fare.

Some people even arrived at the store at 6 a.m., usually a rarity at the Stop & Shop.

While the parking lot seemed to be pretty full and the shopping carts not so plentiful in the store, some say that this is just the calm before the storm since Easter celebrants have two more days left to shop.
