NEW CANAAN - New Canaan police have released surveillance video they hope will help them catch the men who smashed the window of a jewelry store and stole $60,000 in Rolex watches.

It happened on Wednesday afternoon at Henry Reid and Son Jewelers on Elm Street.

The video shows four men rounding the corner. Investigators say they used a sledgehammer to break the window just moments later.

Police believe other suspects were waiting nearby in a getaway vehicle. Multiple police officers were on scene within a minute of the call and trailed behind the suspects, but they got away.
