BRIDGEPORT - Police say they've arrested the gunman who allegedly killed a Bridgeport man Friday evening.

Dominic Perez, 37, was arrested and charged with the murder of Raheem Hargrove-Murray. Police said Hargrove-Murray, 33, was shot repeatedly before collapsing on Clinton Avenue around 7 p.m. Friday.

Witnesses said Perez was arrested at his home on Dover Street shortly after the shooting. Hargrove-Murray died at St. Vincent's Medical Center.

Officials say Perez had already been convicted of a murder in the past, and the victim was also once arrested for murder.

Perez is being held on $1 million bond.
