STAMFORD - Police are asking for the public's help in finding the person who stabbed a man in a crowd.

Police say a fight started amid the crowd of about 1,000 people inside and outside Brother Jimmy's BBQ on Bedford Street early Saturday morning. The victim was stabbed in the stomach and was later released from Stamford Hospital.

The size of the crowd has made it difficult for police to identify a suspect, even with surveillance video.

Anyone with information about the stabbing is asked to call police.
