FAIRFIELD - Fairfield police are investigating what may be gang graffiti found in Tunxis Hill Park.

Police say an off-duty sergeant was at the park with his daughter when he noticed the vandalism.

Fairfield police believe a gang from Bridgeport left these images behind.

The images include a three-pointed crown and a six-pointed star.

The park is about a quarter mile from the Bridgeport City line.

Police say gang activity has always been present in Fairfield, but they've recently seen an upswing in such criminal activity.
