STRATFORD - ? An SUV slammed into a Stratford home Friday morning, forcing a family to temporarily relocate pending an inspection.

Police say the impact was so strong that it knocked the front door off its hinges and jarred siding off the house, located at 287 Delaware Drive. According to police, the SUV?s driver is diabetic and likely passed out behind the wheel. He was able to walk around after the accident but was taken to the hospital for examination.

The home now needs to be inspected. In the meantime, the family must find another place to stay.
