NORWALK - Norwalk police say they are looking to see if two burglaries at local businesses are connected.

Police say a window was broken at Sweet Ashley's Ice Cream Shop on East Avenue early Monday morning, but the owner says nothing was stolen.

They say a short time later, someone broke into the Shell Station down the road.

Police say the thief stole cash, lottery tickets and a carton of cigarettes.
