STAMFORD - The outage on Metro-North’s New Haven Line is impacting commuters as well as many taxi drivers who make a majority of their fares at area train stations.

Taxi drivers say they hope the outage is resolved quickly because it's hurting their bottom line. On Sunday afternoon, there was a long line of taxis sitting idle outside the Stamford station.

Drivers say they lost roughly three-quarters of the business they'd normally get on a Sunday.
