Teacher accused of forcing boy to eat from trash

Investigators say a kindergarten teacher in Bridgeport forced a 5-year-old to eat food from a trash can.The alleged incident took place at Park City Magnet

BRIDGEPORT - Investigators say a kindergarten teacher in Bridgeport forced a 5-year-old to eat food from a trash can.

The alleged incident took place at Park City Magnet School where police say the child threw away part of his lunch. According to investigators, 67-year-old Anne O'Donnel then took the food from the trash and forced the child to finish it in front of her.

O'Donnel has been charged with risk of injury to a minor. She was released on a promise to appear in court.
