BRIDGEPORT - A Bridgeport teacher is calling for greater security at Central High School after a student attacked her with a snowball.

Geometry teacher Deborah Trumpower says a 15-year-old student came into her classroom on Tuesday and hit her in the head with a snowball.

The student was later arrested by police. He's been suspended and will be expelled from the school.

Trumpower was taken to the hospital with a bloody eye and a possible concussion.

In response to the incident, school officials have ordered a complete review of their security procedures.

Police told News 12 Connecticut that the suspect, whose name is being withheld because he's a minor, will appear in court later this month.
