Teen arraigned in shooting that allegedly led to arson

BRIDGEPORT - A teenager was arraigned in Bridgeport today in the shooting of a man who allegedly retaliated with arson.

According to neighbors, the incidents were hatched from an argument between Miguel Torres and Guillermo Quinones Jr.

Detectives say that Quinones pulled a knife on Torres and Torres shot him. Investigators say Quinones then tried to retaliate by setting the front porch of Torres' apartment house on fire.

Police say Quinones was in the hospital today, but will be arraigned on arson charges at a later date.
