Teen arrested in Milford stabbing faces judge

MILFORD - One of three teenagers arrested in a stabbing brawl outside a Milford shopping center faced a judge earlier today. Daniel Cummings, 18, has been charged with injuring two people in a knife fight Dec. 30. Police say he drew his knife outside the Adams Supermarket on New Haven Avenue, and that the incident was probably linked to a previous conflict. Cummings' attorney said his client was attacked and acting in self-defense. Dante Gagliardi, 18, and an 16-year-old male were also taken into custody. Police say they will likely make at least one more arrest.
