Teen hospitalized after stabbing in Norwalk

NORWALK - Norwalk police say a 16-year-old boy remains hospitalized today after being stabbed in the back last night.

Police say they are hoping to talk with the victim more today to gain greater insight into what happened.

Sgt. Lisa Cotto says the 16-year-old was walking across a parking lot near Sound View Avenue and Flax Hill Road when two or three people approached the teen, asking him for money.

Police say he was then stabbed in the back after saying he didn't have money on him.

They say the boy managed to walk into the restaurant Jordan's Too where workers called 911 for help.
