Teen shot in the face in Stamford

A teen is recovering after he was shot several times in Stamford last night. It happened after 10 p.m. on West Main Street.

Police say the 19-year-old man was shot once in the face and twice in the arm.

STAMFORD - A teen is recovering after he was shot several times in Stamford last night.

It happened after 10 p.m. on West Main Street.

Police say the 19-year-old man was shot once in the face and twice in the arm.

They say it looks like a drug deal got violent and the victim was set up.  

Officers say they do not believe this shooting is related to other recent shootings in the area.
