NORWALK - Amos Brown Sr., the father of slain teen Amos Brown Jr., said that he believes that the recent shooting of a Norwalk teen was an attempt to silence a witness to the murder of his son in August.

Joseph Bateman was shot on Stevens Street yesterday when two men attempted to carjack him and subsequently shot him in the face.

Brown Sr. says he believes whoever is out to kill Bateman will come back and try and finish the job.

Police have not said if they think the shooting is related to the August murder but are continuing to investigate.
