BRIDGEPORT - A group of teens tackled the leftover snow in Bridgeport today to help make the city a little safer.

Players with the Bridgeport American Legion baseball program teamed up with local Boy Scouts to dig out fire hydrants along city streets.

The volunteers ventured out early in the morning to get as much done as they could.

City officials say there are more than 2,000 fire hydrants across Bridgeport, and it's great to get any help they can.
