BRIDGEPORT - Two Bridgeport teens are facing charges after police say they held up a bank.

Officers say they hit the TD Bank North on Madison Avenue around 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

They say 18-year-old Andre Smith and a 17-year-old passed a note to a teller demanding money.

Police say the teller gave them the cash and set off the alarm.

The two allegedly took off in an SUV and hit a few cars while trying to get away.

Officers say they tracked them down through a device that was put in the bag of money.
