NORWALK - Drivers looking to get gas have some time to kill as gas shortages hit Connecticut, thanks to Sandy and out-of-state drivers heading to Connecticut to refuel.

At some gas stations in southwestern Connecticut, drivers waited up to an hour just so they could refuel. One gas station owner says gas has been in such high demand, he already ran out once.

Some drivers say while the gas lines are frustrating, they're grateful because conditions could be much worse.
