WALLINGFORD - A longtime tennis coach from Wallingford is imparting his knowledge on a unique set of athletes.

Paul Brower has been teaching tennis to adults, teens and kids for 27 years. Around nine years ago, he was asked to give lessons to people in wheelchairs, and says he's been hooked ever since.

Today, he coaches players like Tyler Konvent, who belongs to the Connecticut Hornets Wheelchair Tennis Team. Konvent was born with a severe spinal condition, but says his competitive spirit spurs him to challenge his abilities.
