STAMFORD - The Beach Boys took to the stage at the Palace Theater in Stamford last night, performing their biggest hits for a worthy cause.

The legendary band was on hand to help raise money at the Dana's Angels Research Trust's annual gala. All the proceeds from the event went to research of Niemann-Pick Type C, a deadly degenerative disease that affects children.

A trustee from Dana's Angels says the organization has raised nearly $3 million.
