A charity hockey game held in Stamford last week raised funds for a foundation that helps people with spinal injuries.

The Big Assist hockey game benefited the Obie Harrington-Howes Foundation, named after a Darien youth hockey coach. The foundation was started 17 years ago after an accident at the beach left Harrington-Howes paralyzed.
