A Greenwich nonprofit is helping the Bridgeport Rescue Mission recover from some recent robberies.

Police say thieves broke into the Rescue Mission's warehouse on Connecticut Avenue three times, stealing thousands of dollars in donated food and clothing. The Needs Clearing House, based in Greenwich, presented the Rescue Mission with an aid package Wednesday to help it recover.
