STAMFORD - Stamford police are looking for a man who broke into a local bar and ransacked the place.

Police say the suspect smashed through the front door of Burns Tavern on Hamilton Avenue with a sledgehammer, stole from the bar and then went back in and trashed the place.

Investigators say the burglary happened at around 3 a.m. Tuesday. The entire incident was caught on camera.

Police say the suspect not only used the sledgehammer on the front door, but also smashed the jukebox and dart board.

Stamford police are asking anyone with information about the suspect to call them.
