Greenwich police say a man from Maryland is under arrest for attempting to use someone else's credit card and a fake ID at a jewelry

GREENWICH - Greenwich police say a man from Maryland is under arrest for attempting to use someone else's credit card and a fake ID at a jewelry store on Greenwich Avenue.

Police say an employee at Lux, Bond and Green called them this week and said Thomas Joseph Wilson tried to make a purchase with an American Express Platinum card that did not belong to him.

Officials say the employees also recognized Wilson from a picture they had previously been given.

They say it warned them that Wilson had been making fraudulent purchases in the area.
