WESTPORT - More than 1,000 people participated in the Travlers Walk MS 2010 at Sherwood Island State Park in Westport this morning.

Medical experts describe multiple sclerosis as a potentially debilitating disease, which affects the central nervous system.

Program coordinators say the money generated this year will help make life a little bit easier for the 6,000 Connecticut residents who have MS.
